IN A PLACE FILL WITH CONFUSION Have you been in a place or job where there is total confusion? How did you feel, and what did you do? Did you leave or stay? The confusion that is unresolved leads to even more confusion and eventually destruction.
In the context of the three angels’ messages in Revelation 14, we look at a system in a state of confusion and how it affects you now and in the future.

Seeking God’s Help
Holy Father, clear our minds to receive your message. In Jesus’ Name Amen
The City of Babylon is in a state of confusion. Yet she is controlling, according to Revelation 17:1, 2, 15 and Revelation 18:1–4. Controlling what?
Revelation 17:1-2, 15
1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,
2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” (Split)
15 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. (Revelation 17:1-2, 15) (Split(
Revelation 18:1-4
1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory.
2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!
3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”
4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. (Revelation 18:1-4)
WOW! What a mess!
She has control over the leaders and people living on Earth. This city of Babylon, though in a state of confusion and filled with deception, influences people on an international level.
As expressed in the previous video, Part 1, titled A City Called Confusion Babylon, symbolizes a fallen religious system.
This fallen religious system has an international reach that is so powerful that it deceives and controls people worldwide through lies and deception. The root of her lies and deception is Satan, who wants humanity to worship him.
He is angry and wants to keep people from knowing the Good News of Jesus, who died to save them from being caught up in Babylon’s destruction.
Nevertheless, according to Revelation 14:6 and Matthew. 24:14, the Good News is that we can be rescued from the mass confusion that circles the globe.
Revelation 14:6
6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— (Revelation 14:6)
Matthew 24:14
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:14)
So, what does Satan do? He tries to do everything possible to deceive all the people on the earth so they don’t accept the Good News about Jesus.
So, Revelation 17:2 explains the mystery of Babylon the Great, declaring that she has sinned with the earth’s leaders.
2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” (Revelation 17:2)
Babylon is a false religious system that has committed fornication. What is fornication? It is an illicit union. It is a union that God opposes. So, this false religious system forms an illicit union with the government leaders of the earth. Thus, a union of church and state is formed.
In contrast, the true religious system, the true church of God, unites only with Jesus. While the false religious system, the false church, represented by Babylon, is full of sin. Babylon’s union is one in which she unites and obtains her power and strength from the political leaders on Earth. What does this union between Babylon and the nation’s leaders show us?
Instead of relying on God, she seeks to get her power and strength from the government by having the leaders make laws to enforce her agenda and strengthen her power.
Revelations 17:2 also tells us what happens to the living people on the earth.
Revelation 17:2
2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” (Revelation 17:2).
Wine here is symbolic. The fresh, pure juice of the grape is used throughout the New Testament to represent Christ’s untainted, pure blood poured out for our salvation on the cross. This we see in Matthew 26:27–29.m (Split)
27 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.
28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
29 But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” (Matthew 26:27-29)
In Luke 22:20, Jesus says, “ ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood’ ”.
However, Babylon’s religious leaders took the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ and replaced the Bible’s truth with false teachings.
They distorted the gospel and teachings of Jesus and replaced them with the teachings of human religious leaders. Thus, as expressed in Revelation 18:3
3 all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” (Revelation 18:3).
Therefore, fulfilling the statement Jesus made in Matthew 15:9
9 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ” (Matthew 15:9)
But all is not lost because we can walk away from the confusion. Look again at Revelation 18:4. What does it say?
4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. (Revelation 18:4)
Do you see that God calls His people to come out of Babylon? You can walk away from confusion.
This says that God has people loyal to Him who are part of this false religious system. The time is coming when God will command them to leave these false systems before they are destroyed in Babylon. As expressed in Revelation 18:2, they are about to fall because of their corrupt and evil nature.
2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! (Revelation 18:2)
Could you be in a false religious system? Does it seem as though you are in a system where the teaching contradicts the Bible? As you would walk away from a company filled with confusion, God calls us to walk away from a religious system filled with confusion, corruption, and false teachings. Remember, our loyalty is not to man or some religious system but to God. But how do you know you are in a corrupt religious system? Watch Part 4: The Mystery, Babylon the Great
